Water Heals Part I: A Brief History of Bathing in the West
Water is a powerful tool for meditation and ritual bathing is a sacred tradition. At the core of virtually every culture is the belief that water is sacred, healing, restoring and, divine. From the Jewish Mikvah to the Mayan Zepul-Che and Christian Baptism, bathing is and has been a holy ritual that transcends culture, place and time.
How do different people around the world use water to heal? When did cleaning yourself become mundane? And can we transform the bath into something that transcends the pragmatic and helps us improve and connect?
The answer to the latter question literally fleshes out our mission at Moonergy.

Our Mother Moon
In ancient and modern cultures around the world, the Moon has always been a symbol of femininity.
It is the star that governs water, the fundamental element of emotions, which represent receptivity, empathy, and vulnerability. Female energy is linked to emotional dynamics and fluidity. If you haven’t noticed it yet, there’s a natural cycle: the moon controls water, whose movement represents our emotions and emotions are linked to feminine energy, like the moon.
